s.236 WASHABLE ACRYLIC for INTERIORS
1) GENERAL INFORMATION and INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Washable water-based wall paint based on styrene-acrylic resins, formulated and produced using the latest technologies. The product features good washability, high coverage, excellent brushability and whiteness, and a full, opaque appearance that helps make any imperfections in the wall less visible. Specific additives make the product suitable for preventing the growth of mold. Suitable for painting any room where good washability and coverage are required. Suitable for interior finishes in bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and, in general, wherever the presence of water vapor requires products with good breathability and high anti-mold protection. Ideal for painting large interior surfaces that require washable products with low emission of volatile compounds and low dirt pick-up, such as school buildings or public spaces.

3) APPLICATION FEATURES
3.1) Environmental and substrate conditions Environmental and substrate temperature: minimum 5°C maximum 35°C Environmental relative humidity: maximum 80% Relative humidity of the substrate (WME) maximum 15% Warnings: We recommend applying the product in the environmental conditions indicated above. Different climatic conditions would negatively influence the correct drying times, compromising the achievement of optimal performance and aesthetic characteristics.

3.3) Drying or hardening at 23°C and 65% relative humidity. Drying time: 1 hour. Overcoating time: minimum 3 hours.
4) APPLICATION CYCLES
4.1) Preparation on NEW MASONRY The plaster must be mature and dry, clean, free of dust and loose parts. Fill and sand any imperfections, isolate the stucco. Apply a coat of Hidralfix Extra s.199 fixative diluted 1 to 5 with water. On pre-mixed plaster, in order to optimize absorption, it is recommended to use Siloxane Primer s.262 diluted with water up to 400% by volume. When working on plasterboard, it is advisable to use Hydralblok 2 s.178 diluted with water up to 50% by volume as a primer. Any filling applied after the first coat of paint must be isolated.
4.2) Preparation on OLD MASONRY: Old surfaces with well-bonded paint will be cleaned and dust-free. Surfaces with poorly bonded paint will be sanded, scraped, or possibly stripped. Any imperfections will then be filled and sanded, followed by thorough cleaning of the surfaces, which must be free of dust or loose parts. The fillers must be isolated. Proceed by applying a coat of Hidralfix Extra s.199 fixative diluted 1 to 5 with water, or of Siloxane Primer s.262 diluted with water up to 400% by volume. Any fillers applied after the first coat of paint must be isolated.
4.3) FINISHES Apply a first coat of s.236 diluted with water up to 25% max. After 4/6 hours apply a second coat of s.236 up to 20% max.
5) STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS Storage temperature: minimum 5°C, maximum 40°C. Minimum storage temperature: 5°C 236-TDS-rev 6.doc5 236-TDS-rev 6.doc5 Available packaging types: 4 kg; 8,0 kg and 23 kg. The diluted product must be stored in the original container, tightly closed, not exposed directly to sunlight or heat sources and must be used within 5 days.
6) ITEMS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE CONTRACTING SPECIFICATIONS Water-based paint based on styrene-acrylic resins in an emulsion resistant to washing (UNI 10560) >2.000 brush strokes. Matt film appearance (UNI EN ISO 2813) suitable for interiors. Suitable for preventing the development of mould (UNI 9805). Particularly suitable for interior finishes on large surfaces where, in addition to washability, low dirt pick-up of the film is required (UNI 10792). Ideal for painting on all substrates as long as they are sufficiently dry. Excellent on traditional and premixed plasters, plasterboard, prefabricated buildings.
