1. Product name

polymer latex for reinforcing cementitious grouts
2. Characteristics and fields of application
Latex W-40
is an aqueous dispersion of elastomeric latexes and ionomer stabilizers for the
reinforcement of cement-based systems.
The product improves the waterproofing, flexibility and adhesion characteristics on substrates
seasoned with any mortar or cementitious filler (even with a little lime).
It is mainly used for casting joints, for the creation of patching mortars or
as a grout for attachment.
3. Application
Preparation of the supports
The surfaces to be treated must be clean and cohesive. It is recommended to remove any parts
powdery or not perfectly adhering.
Product use
To prepare adhesive grouts, an average consumption of 0,25 L/m² of pure product is estimated
To prepare screeds and plasters, an average consumption of 60 L/m³ of product is estimated

Application limits

The product should not be applied with high humidity and temperatures below +5
°C and above +35 °C. For applications in particular climatic conditions, contact the
our technical office.
Cleaning the tools
Wash all used tools under running water immediately after use.
4. Packaging and storage
The product is supplied in 1 litre, 5 litre and 10 litre polyethylene containers specifically
labelled. It should be stored in cool environments and protected from the sun and frost in
original packages tightly closed.
