Thanks to its formulation, Keragrip Eco Pulep removes dirt from surfaces and prepares them for the subsequent installation phase, ensuring optimal adhesion of reactive adhesives, polyurethane sealants and eco-friendly silicones on smooth and compact non-absorbent substrates, marble and ceramic floors and difficult substrates.

Intended use

Preparation of smooth, compact, and non-absorbent substrates before applying reactive adhesives, to improve adhesion to the substrate. Priming of elastic and waterproof expansion and connection joints. Adhesion promoter in KDH systems.

Do not use

On bituminous materials or materials that exude oils, solvents and plasticizers; on damp surfaces or surfaces subject to rising capillary humidity. Surfaces such as ceramic, marble, natural stone, industrial cement floors can be altered by Keragrip Eco Pulep; in such cases its use is allowed only if a new coating is applied to the treated surface.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Preparation of the substrates

In general, the substrates must be dimensionally stable, non-deformable, without cracks and have already undergone the hygrometric shrinkage of maturation; they must also be dry, free from rising damp, free of friable, inconsistent, dusting or not perfectly anchored parts, such as residues of cement, lime, adhesives, which must be completely removed. The surface treatments of some types of material, such as waxes, oils, paints and maintenance products for marble and ceramic and concrete release agents, must be completely removed by mechanical abrasion and / or radical cleaning with suitable products.

Preparation of the joints

The sides of the joints to be sealed must be perfectly dry, clean, and free of grease, dust, and rust. Any loose or loose parts should be removed, and the metals thoroughly deoxidized. When creating exposed joints, to achieve a clean seal line and avoid streaks, it is recommended to cover the edges with a protective mask made from adhesive tape that is perfectly bonded to the substrate.

Application

Substrates: moisten a rag with Keragrip Eco Pulep and clean the entire floor, letting the solvent evaporate to allow the product to spread evenly over the entire surface. Wait for complete drying (about 30 minutes depending on the environmental conditions and the quantities applied) before the next application. In the case of ceramic floors, do not pour Keragrip Eco Pulep directly to avoid moistening the joints, generating possible subsequent problems of rising vapors.

Giunti: after adequate preparation of the joint, apply Keragrip Eco Pulep with a special brush in a single pass on the internal edge of the joint.
