Application cycle

NEW SUPPORT

Thoroughly clean the surface, removing any traces of rust, dust, dirt, or loose particles, and degrease with a car wash thinner. Apply two coats of ZINCOGRIP, leaving a thin layer after the first coat. For new galvanized sheets, leave them exposed to the elements for at least 3 months. Then lightly sand and proceed as described for new surfaces.

ALREADY PAINTED SUPPORT

Remove any loose paint, thoroughly clean the surface, removing any rust, dust, dirt, or loose particles, and degrease with a cleaning thinner. Apply two coats of ZINCOGRIP, leaving a thin layer after the first coat. Cover the surface to be painted completely, avoiding cracks, small holes, or exposed corners, as these would cause rapid deterioration of the film and substrate.
